As soon as I learned it was National Cookie Day I knew I had to pull a palette from my favorite cookies. We picked up this little packet of joy at a small shop in Paris and photographed it on top of the fancy induction cooktop in the teeny kitchen in the apartment we rented. It's amazing what memories a photo of cookies can bring up.
