Inspired by a grindstone in Izeda, Portugal this pattern continues on the bandana flavor that developed yesterday. Izeda is a former municipal parish of Brangança. It was abolished in 2013 and aggregated into the Union of Parishes of Izeda, Calvelhe and New Paradinha which seems like an awfully long and unruly name to me. The town's history goes back to 1836 and somewhere along the way this stone was used for something. But it inspired the gear-like repeating pattern today.
