The 100 Day Project - Day 11 of My "1 Motif 100 Ways" Pattern Series

"Gaeiras", by Carlyn Clark of "The 1 Motif 100 Ways" series for day 11 of "The 100 Day Project"

Further manipulation of the motif. It's getting hard to come up with things to say about the process. I played around with color and added elements to the pattern once I had it in repeat. It reminds me a bit of a bandana, which I am somewhat obsessed with. I have a collection of bandanas going back to the 70's, when they were a must-have fashion item. I'm thinking some of the patterns from this project will combine nicely into bandana-like prints. 

Lighthouse in Gaeiras, Portugal

Today's city is Gaeiras. I honestly chose it because I liked the sound of the word. Searching it out online I found that it has lots of great cheap rentals on Airbnb, including this lighthouse. The keyed up photo inspired my colors today.
