Today I created two separate patterns and layered them. This is just a small snippet of the overall pattern, which is again slated to be the fabric for a duvet cover as part of a bedding set. From a distance, it has the appearance of being an old-fashioned coverlet or pieced quilt with a little of a granny's-old-crochet-doily feeling. Part of my charge was to create bedding that ladies like but aren't so girly that the menfolk balk. We'll see how it's accepted.
