Today I've made another pattern that references the old world feeling of lace. Eixo, Portugal was first settled in the early 1000's, and was the county seat between the 12th and 19th centuries. In my mind I see lovely ladies in those days wearing elaborate mantillas of handmade lace. Complete fantasy on my part, but it was something to think about as I manipulated the motif for the 62nd consecutive day.
