"Moimenta da Beira", by Carlyn Clark of "The 1 Motif 100 Ways" series for day 51 of "The 100 Day Project"
As for imagery, I was looking at this picture and brought some of the rounded shapes and interlocking elements. A very abstract interpretation, but in the end it has an ecclesiastic appearance to me.
And the second half begins! It's a downhill ride from here, coasting into home. Hopefully, I maintain that attitude!
I chose today's Portuguese town, Moimenta da Beira because I liked the sound of it. It's a lot to say, I wonder what the locals use as a nickname. It was originally settled by remnants of the Visigoths. Another great sounding word.
